Sales Director China (m/f)

Your Mission

As Sales Director China, you will have full responsibility for the commercial success of AutoForm in Mainland China. You will define and execute the China sales strategy, lead a high-performing sales organization, and build long-term strategic partnerships with Chinese OEMs and key suppliers. China is a core strategic market for AutoForm, and this role offers significant impact and visibility within the group.
 

Your tasks

  • Business & Strategy:
    • Own and execute the China business plan in alignment with AutoForm’s global strategy
    • Drive sustainable revenue growth and expansion of recurring revenues with key customers
    • Position AutoForm as a trusted partner for digital transformation in stamping and body-in-white assembly
  • Key Account Management:
    • Build and maintain executive-level relationships with selected Chinese OEMs and leading tool suppliers
    • Develop strategic, long-term partnerships beyond individual software sales
    • Sponsor and enable large-scale transformation programs such as:
      • Digital Excellence (DX) Programs for OEMs
      • AutoForm Supplier Qualification (ASQ) Programs for tool suppliers
  • Sales Leadership:
    • Lead, coach and develop the China sales team
    • Translate national objectives into clear regional goals and account priorities
    • Foster a performance-driven, customer-centric and collaborative sales culture
    • Work closely with technical and license compliance teams to ensure customer success
  • Go-to-market:
    • Lead go-to-market activities for new AutoForm software products in China
    • Support pilot projects and early customer adoption
    • Provide structured market feedback to product management and global stakeholders
  • Sales Planning & Forecast:
    • Ensure transparent pipeline management and reliable sales forecasting
    • Maintain a clear view of market potential, account development plans and key opportunities
       

Your profile

  • Established executive network in China’s automotive industry, with direct access to decision-makers at OEMs and leading suppliers
  • Strong understanding of vehicle product development and manufacturing engineering processes
  • Solid technical background in automotive manufacturing; experience in stamping and BIW assembly is a strong asset
  • Proven ability to engage and influence senior management at customer organizations
  • Track record of successfully developing complex, long-term sales and partnership models
  • Ability to lead customers through digital transformation initiatives and organizational change
  • Strong analytical mindset combined with excellent communication skills
  • Experience working in an international, multicultural environment
  • High ethical standards and professional integrity
  • Fluent Mandarin Chinese; strong business English
  • Willingness to travel extensively within China and occasionally internationally
