Senior IT Professional (m/w) 80-100%

The team consists of 5 local and 5 international colleagues, who are responsible for the 100 employees in Switzerland, as well as the 350 employees in our 14 international offices.

This position requires a lot of initiative and communication and offers plenty of creative freedom regarding the tasks. For this reason, we look forward to an applicant of senior level who can support the Corporate IT Manager.


Your tasks

  • Supporting certification projects and assessments (e.g. ISO 27001)
  • Planning and evaluating appropriate IT infrastructure for projects and offices
  • Creating and maintaining processes for IT reliability and security (e.g., trainings)
  • Local
    • Plan and organize the IT infrastructure in the head office
    • Ensure network and equipment safety
  • International
    • Consult Country Managers with their IT Infrastructure in their offices
    • Work together with the international IT team on IT improvement projects like simulation clusters and Clouds
  • Document the implemented infrastructure and work processes

Possible further development

  • Development towards a deputy role as IT Manager
  • Clouds planning and management
  • Negotiate supply contracts

Your profile

  • Computer scientist with a federal certificate, Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering or comparable work experience
  • Passion for documentation, certification, processes and security
  • Passion for computer and network hardware components
  • In-depth know-how and practical experience with Microsoft client and server products
  • Experienced in network (TCP/IP, Firewall, DNS)
  • Background in first- and second-level support and server maintenance
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Team player with good communications skills
  • Very good German and English skills (oral and written)
