Regional Sales/Account Manager (m/f)

The successful applicant will join a small dynamic team of sales and technical engineers who work closely together to deliver AutoForm software solutions to the market place and supports the customers to successfully implement the solutions within their organization.

Your tasks:

  • Create and develop strong relationships with customers and prospects at the executive level - inclusive of decision-makers and influencers - by understanding the customer’s processes and communicating the value gained by using the recommended AutoForm methodologies at predominantly Automotive OEM’s, Tier One Stamping and Body Assembly Suppliers and/or Die Shops 
  • Work closely with the Technical Account Managers to proactively identify and address customer needs
  • Key account management including the development and implementation of account management strategies; manage multiple accounts; develop positive working relationships with all customer touch points
  • Identify opportunities to grow accounts and turnover to meet annual targets
  • Drive customer retention, renewals, upsells and customer satisfaction
  • Work with the technical team to engage in pre-sales discussions and deliver software demonstrations
  • Maintain CRM system including prospecting, forecasting and reporting
  • Introduce new products to existing customers and prospects
  • Manage software/licensing agreements and the licensing of products
  • Manage customer evaluations and product focus projects
  • Organize and execute events; presence at trade shows/exhibitions/conferences 
  • Identify opportunities for blogs and articles on customer projects and relevant topics

Your profile:

  •  Highly experienced sales person with more than 9 years direct-selling experience in an international environment, preferably concerning complex technical (software) products, ideally in the automotive industry in the field of car development / production
  • Proven track record in planning and management of sales and strategies for a key account
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience with closing large deals
  • Sound knowledge of the products and industries in which the company operates and ability to communicate the companies vision to the customer
  • Effective communication with/coordination of the global sales force in the different countries with involvement in all operational services and projects within the key account
  • Reports to the Country Manager

  • Self management and discipline
  • Fluent in English (Dutch, German, Swedish is a plus)

Location:

This role is placed in Rotterdam. Start of work is as soon as possible.
